What Lip Filler is
Lip filler at Estetika is hyaluronic-acid gel placed in small, deliberate amounts to define the border, balance asymmetries and add volume that suits your face. It is one of our most requested treatments, and also the one where restraint shows the most: the goal is lips people notice without knowing why, never the overfilled look that gave filler a bad name. If your lips have thinned with age, or were never as full as you wanted, this is the treatment that addresses both.
How it works
The gel adds structure to the lip border and body while drawing water into the tissue, so lips look fuller and hydrated at once. Strategic placement, more border definition here, a touch of volume there, changes the proportions without changing the shape nature gave you.
The procedure, step by step
Numbing cream goes on first and gets 10 to 15 minutes to work; the filler itself carries lidocaine too. Your injector places the gel in small threads and droplets, checking symmetry between passes and molding gently. The full visit runs about 30 to 45 minutes, most of it numbing time.
What to expect after
Lips swell for a few days, sometimes unevenly, so the first week is not the final picture. Cold compresses help the first night; skip hot drinks, kissing pressure and strenuous exercise for 24 hours. The settled result shows at about two weeks.
Results and maintenance
Definition and balanced volume that typically last several months to a year, depending on the product and your metabolism. Many patients build gradually across two visits, which is how the most natural results happen, and then maintain once or twice a year.
Care and limits, honestly
Bruising is common and covers with makeup once the points close. Cold-sore-prone patients should tell us in advance, treatment can trigger an outbreak we can help prevent. If you have an event, book at least two weeks ahead. We will not chase a trend that fights your anatomy.
